Kevin Federline is best known as Britney Spears' ex-husband and father of her two children. Federline, however, has his own career that's been growing since his days as a backup dancer for hip-hop and pop superstars like Justin Timberlake and even Michael Jackson.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Focus on a career such as hip-hop and pop dancing--Kevin Federline's chosen career--that can blast you into the universe of celebrity and entertainment stars. Hone your skills as K-Fed did and be prepared to take the kind of risk that Federline took when he started dancing full-time in L.A.

  2. Step 2

Perform as much as you can in order to finally be in the right place at the right time, like Kevin Federline managed to do when an agent discovered him dancing a regular gig in an L.A. club. The agent spoke with Federline and signed him to a two-week tour, thereby officially launching his dance career.

  3. Step 3

Level-jump by getting jobs with big name celebrities like Michael Jackson, whose 2001 music video Kevin Federline danced in. Stay motivated so you can work with more relevant and rising stars like Justin Timberlake, who, as Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend, eventually provided a critical connection between Britney Spears and K-Fed.

  4. Step 4

Work for someone who you think might fall in love with you to take the cake as Kevin Federline did shortly after he met Britney Spears at a club. Agree to marry the star you fall in love with (even if you can't afford the engagement ring), but continue to push on with your own career.

  5. Step 5

Launch a music career, or any other career that puts you in the driver's seat, as Federline did with his 2006 release of the album "Playing With Fire." Continue to pull in K-Fed-style revenue by doing commercials and ads, such as one for Target that Kevin Federline did in which he's holding a plunger, and by doing dance instruction on the side.
