Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yarn

  1. Step 1

Create a slip knot on the shaft of one of the knitting needles. Technically, this is the first stitch.

The needle with the slip knot goes into your left hand. With your right hand, slip the second needle into the knot, but underneath the first needle.

  3. Step 3

Use the index finger on your right hand to loop the yarn coming from the ball under then over the right needle.

  4. Step 4

Use the needle in your right hand to pull the yarn you just looped around it through the original slip knot.

  5. Step 5

Gently pull the yarn to tighten up the stitch.
