How to Make a Camp Nightshirt

For anyone who likes to go camping or has children who go camping, go on Girl Scout trips or sleepovers, or who just like to make their own nightgown, this is a great solution.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Sewing machine
• Additional decorations
• Two t-shirts
• Thread

1. Pick out two of your favorite T-shirts that are of the same size. It is best if they are close in color or of complementing colors.
2. Cut a straight horizontal line across one of the t-shirts under the sleeves.
3. Attach the bottom part of the cut T-shirt to the bottom of the other T-shirt by sewing a straight stitch completely around the T-shirt.
4. You now have a T-shirt camp nightshirt that comes just below your knees. This is a great way to recycle old T-shirts.
5. If you wish to add additional decorations, you can do iron-ons or fabric paint to customize it.
