If you want a champagne cocktail that kicks up the color, taste and octane, try this.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Drink shaker
  • Lemon juice
  • Triple sec or other orange-flavored liqueur
  • Blue Curaçao
  • 1 oz. vodka or gin
  • Bar strainer
  • Champagne
  1. Step 1

    Pour 1 oz. of vodka or gin into a shaker half filled with ice cubes.

  2. Step 2

    Add small amounts of lemon juice and orange-flavored liqueur to taste. The blue curacao gives this cocktail its distinctive color.

  3. Step 3

    Put the lid on the shaker and shake for five to ten seconds.

  4. Step 4

    Strain into a Champagne flute.

  5. Step 5

    Fill up the flute with Champagne.
