1
Start by sending the kids out to collect sticks from the yard. Tell them not to bring anything back thicker then their thumb. My kids love the hunt before this project.

2
Gather three sticks together placing a dab of glue at the top and wrapping in string. Expand and work the sticks around so that it forms a teepee. Add a thicker flat stick in the opposite direction across two of the legs to form a shelf for the picture. It should look like a rustic art easel and can be made any size.

Take your picture and place a layer of glue around the outside. Lay sticks into place and do not over lap at the ends. You can also glue on dried flowers and leaves for a added arts and craft feel.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure all the materials you are working with are dry. If not then hang from a string and allow a few days to dry. Flowers dry better upside down and using a little hair spray will help them keep their rich color.
Always use a low temp glue gun when working with children.
