When you move, you always find stuff you no longer need. In my case, I find stuff that I wonder why I needed it in the first place.

This article provides some easy ways to get rid of stuff you don't need in a responsible way.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The Salvation Army is a great place to donate clothes, books, household item and other stuff you no longer want. Good will, churches and other organizations also except many donations of clothes and household items.

  2. Step 2

Craisglist (www.craigslist.org) and Freecycle(www.freecycle.org) allow you to list items that you no longer need and are willing to give away for free.

  3. Step 3

Sell unwanted items on eBay or Amazon. There is no guarantee that your item will sell or sell by the time you move, but if it does, you can make some extra money.
