EATING HEALTHY FOOD DOES NOT HAVE TO BE BORING!! Do you want to eat healthier but don't want to be eating weird diet food? I'll teach you some recipes that will make you forget that what you're eating is good for you. It's possible to make a healthy version of anything you like.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Healthy Versions of Food

Step1
Lets start with one of the favorites - pizza. Take a whole wheat pita bread (or pre-made whole-wheat pizza crust) and add fat-free cheese, tomato sauce and your choice of veggies. That's it!! Could it be any easier? All of the food choices are healthy and good for you. You will never miss old greasy, fattening pizza.
Step2
Another easy one is spaghetti. Just replace the regular spaghetti with whole-wheat spaghetti, use tomato sauce and add your choice of spices (oregano and garlic are the ones I like!), add low-fat ground beef, turkey or sausage. You can also add in some mushrooms, bell peppers, or whatever you like. Another delicious HEALTHY meal.
Step3
Tacos/Burritos. Use whole-wheat tortillas or corn taco shells. Add low-fat ground beef or turkey, beans, fat-free cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fat-free sour cream, and any other vegetables you may like. Yet another simple but healthy meal.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take ANY recipe and just substitute things for whole-wheat, low-fat and fat-free. You can make anything healthy and still have it be a meal that the whole family enjoys.
  • Try to cut out anything processed and use whole ingredients.
