Nearly all professional gamblers make a living playing Blackjack. It is one of the few casino games that can be beaten. When a player masters the skill of card counting the odds swing in favor of the player by 1%. Below is brief explanation of how to beat the casino and make great money doing it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Gambling Cash
  • Card Counting Skills

Step1
Card Counting - The principle behind counting cards in blackjack is that a deck of cards with a high proportion of high cards (tens and aces) to low cards is good for the player, while the reverse (a deck with a high proportion of low cards to high cards) is good for the dealer. A deck rich in tens and aces improves the player's odds because blackjacks (which offer a higher payout than other winning hands) become more common, the dealer is more likely to bust a stiff hand, and double-downs are more successful.
Step2
How to Count Cards (Hi-Lo) - In the Hi-Lo system, the cards 2 through 6 are assigned a value of +1. Tens (and face cards) through aces are assigned a value of −1. Cards 7, 8, and 9 have a value of zero, or are called neutral (so they can be ignored). The Hi-Lo system is an example of a balanced card-counting system, in that there are an equal number of +1 and -1 cards in the deck, so a count of all 52 cards would result in an end count of 0.
Step3
Practice, Practice, Practice - Card counting is harder than it sounds. It is best to work with a team. You can practice with your team and work together when playing at the casino.
Step4
Take your Skills to the Casino - It is best to start out at with the smallest amount of money possible. It is a good idea to keep the bets low while you master the system. Watch out for security. Casinos will ask you to leave if they believe you are counting cards. It is not illegal, but you can be banned from any casino that chooses to do so.

Tips & Warnings

  • To be sucessful you must not take blind risks. Always gamble smart.
  • Casinos have counter measures in place for card counters. Don't get caught.
