Your anniversary is the perfect time to revive your marriage and get romantic. If your every day life is busy and you have very little time to be romantic, it is especially important to take advantage of this day and make the most out of it for the both of you.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Book a hotel for the night, even if its only 20 minutes away from home. The importance of this is to get you out of the house - away from all the bills, the children, the chores, the phone and even the computer.

  2. Step 2

Dinner reservations. Plan a romantic dinner. It doesn't have to be pricey to be romantic. It could even be a small italian restaurant that only serves pizza by candle light. Be sure to order a bottle of something and make a toast to your spouse. Celebrating an anniversary is a big deal after all. Just about half of all marriages end up in divorce, count yourselves lucky you found each other. If your marriage is one of those on the rocks, you can use this day as the perfect excuse to rekindle and make-up.

  3. Step 3

An event. Get tickets somewhere, the theatre, opera, a concert, just about anything but sports should be good. Use common sense, if your loved one hates the opera, don't buy opera tickets. Maybe even a burlesque show to spark up some romantic and sexy feelings!

  4. Step 4

The gift. I hate to say this but its true...if you are the husband reading this, your wife would really like a piece of jewelry. Unless you buy her jewelry all the time, its acceptable to buy her something else but really, to be a true romantic, a little bling goes a long way. It doesn't have to be gold and diamonds, silver is nice too if that's what she likes. For your husband, maybe a watch he can wear every day to symbolize the time you've spent together or a new fishing pole if that's what he likes along with a promise to pack him a nice lunch the first fishing trip he goes on. Again, ladies, you know your man best.

  5. Step 5

Evening attire...Ladies, this one's for you. Pack a little "something something" if you know what I mean!
