Decorate a cute little sachet to hang in your closet to keep your clothes and closets smelling fresh.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12" x 6" piece of tartan wool
  • scissors
  • pins
  • glue gun and glue sticks
  • potpourri in the scent of your choice
  • 1 yard of cotton cord too match the fabric
  • small decorations
  1. Step 1

Fold the wool in half lengthwise. Try to match up the plaid pattern nicely and trim any edges that need it. Mark the bottom fold line with a pin.

  2. Step 2

Open the fabric back up and apply hot glue along each side edge. Refold the fabric and quickly press sides together to secure the glue before it dries.

  3. Step 3

When dry, fill with potpourri and using the cotton cord close the top of the pouch and secure with a knot. Using more cotton cord, make a hanging loop and hot glue it to the back of the pouch.

  4. Step 4

Apply small decorations to the front of the pouch using hot glue and allow to dry. Hang in closet on an extra hanger.

on 6/19/2008 I love crafts. I will have to try this one. I have another one similar in mind which I will get around to one of these days, and write on, hopefully.

Thank you for sharing.
