Things You'll Need:
- Patients, and Time, and the internet
-
Step 1
Specify Which driver's are Not there, You can do this by going to MY COMPUTER right click on the page go to properties, then to hardware, then click on Device Manager, Now the Driver that is out Should have a yellow question mark on it or a red X.
-
Step 2
Just because the driver is not picking up doesn't mean it's not there, but it may be corrupt so try this first delete the yellow question marked driver and restart the pc, i DO NOT want you to consider this unless your pretty good with a pc, because it may have a bad after effect, another way is to get the motherboard make and model number or the pci card's make and model, they usauly can be found some where on the motherboard or pci card, if you have to disconnect anything ground yourself because static electricity can damage hardware, and remember it connects back to, to make it less of a headache.
-
Step 3
After you've got the make and model number, either got to the company's website or search it over the web, if no results get a driver finder such as Driver Genius, some of the driver finders are free but not many, but some do have trial periods. Another option would be to contact the company and request the drivers. IF you have to re put the sound control on the taskbar, click start go to control panal click sound speech and audio devices after that check the box that says place volume icon on the task bar. and it should be there.
