How to use Cloth Diapers and Diaper Covers

A baby will use either 7,000 disposable diapers or 80 cotton diapers. A disposable diaper is used for 2 hours - a cloth diaper is used for 3 years. Think of all the resources used to produce a product that will last for only 2 hours and then be thrown away. Think about where all the billions of throw-away diapers are going to end up.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Cloth Diapers
  • Diaper Cover
  • Baby
  • Diaper liner optional

Step1
diaper and cover Fold prefold diaper in a "V" shape lengthwise and place diaper on the opened Diaperap® cover. (See photo) If the diaper is too long, fold the front end over. If you are using a diaper liner lay it on top of the diaper. Place under your baby. No need to use diaper pins.
Step2
diapers and liners Pull front up between baby's legs. Adjust and close tabs around baby's waist.
Step3
Be sure diaper is tucked completely inside the diaper cover.

Tips & Warnings

  • We offer small size diapers to better fit your newborn to 3 month old baby . If you are using Regular size diapers we recommend that you turn the diaper so that the longest part is horizontal, now fold the diaper in thirds.
  • Avoid the midnight fumbles; prepare your diaper before bedtime to make middle of the night changes quick and easy.
