For hygiene's sake, bowling shoes need a regular shot of disinfectant spray.

Physical activity creates perspiration and that often results in bacteria and odor. This is especially an issue with bowling shoes, which are rented at the alleys and used by many different people. A disinfectant spray must be antibacterial.   • Disinfectant spray
  • Counter top

Instructions

    • 1

      Place the shoes on top of a counter in a well ventilated room.

    • 2

      Loosen the laces on the shoes, particularly the laces nearest to the tongue of the shoe.

    • 3

      Aim the front of the spray away from your face. Holding the tongue of the shoe up, spray the inside of the shoe up to the opening of the shoe.

    • 4

      Repeat step 3 for the other shoe.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure the disinfectant spray is antibacterial, especially if more than one individual is sharing a pair of shoes.

  • Keep the spray away from the eyes and mouth.
