Ahh yes, spring is finally here. The birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming. Everything seems perfect except, the sinus infection you’re battling. If pressure and nasal congestion has you feeling sluggish and fuzzy, try these simple tricks to give you some much needed relief.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Towel
  • Eucalyptus oil
  • Humidifier
  • Saline nasal spray
  • Water
  • Chicken soup

Step1
Did you know that dry air can make sinuses irritated? To prevent the air from drying out, keep a humidifier running.
Step2
Uses warm compresses and decongestants for relief.
Step3
Add 4-5 drops of eucalyptus oil to a sink filled with steaming water. Put a towel over your head and breathe deeply.
Step4
Just like grandma use to say, eat hot chicken soup. Research shows that chicken soup helps to thin mucus in the mouth, throat, and lungs.
Step5
Use saline spray to reduce the risk of sinus infections.
Step6
Avoid exercising outside during peek pollution hours.
Step7
Drink plenty of water to keep the sinus membranes hydrated.
