Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- Write with a clear head.
- Don't try to write when you are grieving, allow yourself time for that.
- Focus on what you learned from what she taught.
- Let everyone know how much her traditions meant to you.
- let everyone know how much she was loved.
Step1
Write things about your mother you would like others to know. Her favorite plant or flower, her favorite color or her favorite song.
Step2
Although the occasion is not the humorous one add humor so as to let everyone know she had a lighter side. List some of her dreams.
Step3
Let others know about her family, children, husband. Then let everyone know how much she was loved and how much she will be missed.

on 6/18/2008 These are sad to write. But it is something that has to be done. Just be sure to get all those dates correct.

on 6/18/2008 Great advice, I should have had more input into my mother's. A great new thing I have seen is including the names of any pets left behind, my mother would have appreciated that.

on 6/17/2008 Very well written. It reminded me of my mother-in-law's obituary and how all family members contributed something funny to lighten the sadness.
