      Place a wet dishcloth in your microwave for approximately 20 seconds. CAUTION it will be hot! The steam from the wet dish cloth should loosen any hardened food particles that are stuck on the surface. You could also use a glass measuring cup with water - heat to boiling, then leave the door closed for a minute. Proceed to wiping out any loosened food particles.

      You can use mild soapy water, wring out your dish cloth so that it is damp, (not dripping) to gently wash the key pad area and the exterior door. Be careful to also clean any surface on the edges where the door seals to the microwave. Buff stainless surfaces with a dry cloth to avoid water spots.

      Stubborn stains can be removed by using bar keepers friend or bon ami lightly sprinkled onto a damp cloth. Scrub stain in the direction of the grain of the stainless. Rinse with clean water. Avoid using near perforated surfaces.
