How to Decorate your yard with solar lights

Now that spring has arrived, we start thinking of how we can spruce up our yard and enjoy the longer, warmer days ahead. We can add lighting to our yard without hiring an electrician or run wires. We can add solar lights which will give us great flexibility to where we want lighting.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Slight assembly required when you get your lights

Step1
Evaluate whatyou would like light up after dark. Would you like to lightup a pathway, highlight your flower garden, just add a unique light that would bring out some feature in your yard.
Step2
Determine where your lights should be placed. They need to be in an area where it gets a few hours of sunlight to charge the re-chargeable batteries which power the lights.
Step3
After you get your lights, assemble them and place them where you want to light up

Tips & Warnings

  • Solar lights give off a warm glow that really accentuates whatever you want to accent.
  • Solar lights use a small solar panel to collect sun light which is used to recharge the batteries. The lights need to be placed in an area where they will get direct sunlight for a few hours during the day,
