Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 18-21 Gauge Eyepins, atleast 2 inches in length
  • Bic Stick Pen
  • Wire Cutter
  • Pliers (Or Good Hand Strength)
  • Optional 3mm Metal Sphere Bead & Coil Bead For Decoration

Step1
Creating earwire step 1. Copyright 2008 Melody deJongh Place your optional decorative beads onto your eyepin. Remember, the lower the gauge the thicker the metal.
Step2
Creating earwire step 2. Copyright 2008. Melody dejongh At the top of the loop (or top of decorative beads) bend the rest of the eyepin tail to a 90 degree angle from the beads.
Step3
Creating earwire step 3. Copyright 2008 Melody deJongh. Place Bic Stick Pen at the bend and with pliers or hand, bend the wire around the pen . Cut off any excess eyepin tail that you do not need.
Step4

Tips & Warnings

  • You can add any decorative elements to the earwires as you want.
  • May want to get flush cutting pliers to avoid sharp edges.
