Things You'll Need:

  • Lyrics
  • Pen
  • Paper
  • Time
  1. Step 1
     

    Most commonly used is verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge(verse)/chorus I usually leave out the last verse. The other used is verse/verse/bridge/verse I have yet to use this format myself.

  2. Step 2
     

    The verses tell you exactly what's going on from start to finish. They all have the same rhyme but different lyrics. The chorus is usually what eveybody remembers it's repeated two or more times through out the song. The bridge is the emotional point of the song you feel exactly how the writer does at this point.

  3. Step 3
     

    You should Title the song then decided whether to start of with the first verse or chorus which ever you start with follow with the other. Once you reached the end you can close with the chorus or add a bridge the close
