How to Make No Bake Cookies

Delicious and easy No Bake Cookies made with chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal. You will learn to make perfectly moist cookies without over drying them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 bag of chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • wax paper
Step1
In a medium saucepan, combine milk, sugar, butter, and chocolate chips.
Step2
Bring ingredients to a FULL boil, and cook for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes.
Step3
Remove from pan from heat. Stir in peanut butter, oatmeal, and vanilla.
Step4
Drop by spoonful onto wax paper, and let the cookies cool until hardened.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
  • If you do not boil the ingredients long enough, the cookies will not set.
  • If you boil the ingredients too long, the cookies will become dry and crumbly.

on 4/2/2008 Thank you for pointing that out. I edited the article, and they are supposed to go in Step 1 with the milk, butter, and sugar in a saucepan.
