How to Entertain Kids on a Car Trip

It will be hard NOT to play this game on car rides of any length!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

This is a twist on a game learned at Girl Scouts. Any time you see a yellow car, yell, "Bingo!" Schoolbuses, taxis, and construction vehicles do not count. Two people can't pick the same car.

  2. Step 2

You can spice things up by adding other categories: gold cars are "Blingo"; silver cars are "Zingo"; red cars are "Yahtzee"; blue cars are "Scrabble," etc. etc.

  3. Step 3

Older kids may want to see who finds the most cars. Younger kids will just have fun yelling out, "Bingo!" You will never look at a yellow car again without thinking of this game!

on 5/19/2009 Simple idea for car games for kids. Reminds me of "punchbuggy." You might like my article about playing the Cow Game on road trips. *****
