This is a basic HTML tutorial for links.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A computer and keyboard
  • Access to the Internet

Step1
Since HTML is not allowed in articles, you will have to follow the steps very carefully. You will have to type steps 2-11 out in sequence. Be very careful not to include any spaces in between any of the characters except for between the a and the href. However, where it says "TEXT YOU WANT TO LINK GOES HERE", you may type it out however you want.

Again, be sure to include no spaces between characters except where shown (a href).
Step13
If this was hard to understand, or you couldn't figure it out from the instructions above, you can go to this website: http://www.quackit.com/html/tutorial/html_links.cfm.
Just copy and paste the red text underneath the words EXAMPLE HTML CODES and paste the necessary URL address in the place shown.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to include the closing code, which are steps 8-11 (without spaces). Otherwise, your text will not be "clickable".
