Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Bottle
  • STERILIZED Water
  • Powdered Formula
  • A Microwave(optional)

Step1
Unscrew the top of a clean bottle from its base.
Step2
Pour desired amount of water into the bottle.
Step3
Add powdered formula to bottle, making sure each scoop is packed and level.
Step4
Screw the top of the bottle back on the bottle. (Make sure nipple is in the ring)
Step5
Shake vigorously until there are no longer clumps of formula in the water.
Step6
*After mixing, remove top of bottle again and microwave.
Step7
*Put top of bottle back on and shake again to make sure liquid is the same temperature throughout.

Tips & Warnings

  • A "shorter" and "fatter" bottle is easier to get powdered formula into, keep this in mind when purchasing bottles
  • Cheaper formula will create fewer bubbles at the top after shaking. ITS TRUE!
  • Most usually, formula is mixed one scoop to every two ounces of water.
  • Steps six and seven are optional. It is recommended in many books not to microwave a bottle! However, in my experience, it is alright as long as you shake the bottle after warming and test on your inner wrist.
