One place you can find all the materials you will need that is very helpful with everything is the home depot.

Step 2
Next, you need to make sure the area your tiling is clean and free from obstructions, wall tile is the easiest instillation mostly because walls are ready to go, you can lay tile right on your painted drywall even if textured. Next you need to snap your lines, make sure your lines are straight, and level. by snapping your lines you can see where your tile is going to be and also the easiest place to start.
-
Step 3
After your lines are snapped your ready to apply the mastic (mastic is a pre mixed adhesive) on your wall with your 3/8 in trawl, only apply the mastic in small sections. Apply the mastic in a square 1 ft by 1 ft start at the bottom of your wall, place your first tile on the floor and at the edge of your line going up the wall. Continue fro there placing a spacer between each tile for your grout line.
-
Step 4
* After all of your tile is on the wall wait over night until dry. your next step is to grout the tile, mix the grout with water making sure the mix is not to wet. Apply the grout with a grout float, you want to wait about 15 min before cleaning the grout off the wall making sure not to wash out between the tiles.
-
Step 5
Your last step is to caulk the edges of the tile. Using the caulking gun run a bead of caulk right at the joint where the tile meets the wall, clean using warm water and sponge.
