Here are some excellent ways to use your old panty hose in a more thrifty way. After you read this you will never look at your ill run panty hose ever again!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Panty hose
  • Scissors
  • Newspaper tubes
  • Broom
  • Rubber bands

Step1
Store panty hose in plastic newspaper tubes and mark the bags according to wearing condition- best, second best, wear with pants because they have a few runs.
Step2
Elastic a waistband from torn panty hose will hold plastic bags in trash or garbage cans. Just slip them over the lip.
Step3
Cut about eight inches from the toe and you have bags in which to tie up and/ or hang-up all sorts of things.
Step4
Braid three strands of three legs each and you have a dog's tug of war toy. But don't let the dog swallow the pieces.
Step5
Tie the legs together at the crotch and cut off the remainder of the legs and you have a "hat" to cover your hair when it is cold outside.
Step6
To keep your broom in shape cut a 4 inch band from one of the legs from a pair of panty hose. Slip it over the broom so that it sits about 3 or 4 inches above the end of the bristles.

Tips & Warnings

  • Please clean all panty hose before using them for these steps.
