When selling a service or product to clients remain honest to the client and you will succeed. Selling is not always the easiest work to be in because of the short term focus of most managers. The focus is long term sales. To get long term commitment from clients and long term sales follow the steps listed below and success is yours.

  • Honesty
  • Integrity
  • Willingness to help others
  • Determination

Step1
Know your audience; Who are they? Know their name, the one they want you to use. What do they need? What do they want? What are their concerns? What is their level of commitment? What is their expectation of you today? Of all the challenges what are the priorities?
Step2
Focus on one need at a time.
Step3
Connect how you can help them. Connect it to their needs, be specific.
Step4
Once you have sold the product or service in, prove it! Follow up. Nothing worse than a sales man that disappears after you buy from them. Return their calls immediately.
