Here is a wonderful craft for children of all ages to make. This easy to make desk organizer is sure to make Father’s Day special.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small Emptied Kleenex Tissue Box
  • Paper
  • Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Paper Ribbon
  1. Step 1

Trim away any plastic around the oval opening of the tissue box. Slowly lift the side flaps of the box exposing the inside of the box. Tape a family picture to the inside of the box, using the oval opening as the frame for your picture.

  2. Step 2

The side flaps that are opened are the top of your desk organizer. With the flaps open make holes for pens, pencils, and a large opening for scissors.

  3. Step 3

Once the holes are in place, close the flaps down and secure with them with tape.

  4. Step 4

Begin to cover each side of the tissue box with paper; cutting out the picture frame opening and the holes on top. Use a glue stick to secure the paper to each side of the box.

  5. Step 5

Give the edges of the organizer a finished look by pasting paper ribbon along the sides. Embellish the box further; wrapping paper ribbon around the entire box and enhancing the oval frame with markers.

on 8/26/2008 Wow! No one can guess that this was a Kleenex tissue box.
I just love how you added the picture and the dark marker lines. 5 stars Sarah
