The Rip Stick is a fun little vehicle that was created not too long ago, but it is very hard trying to start out on one. (This will work for the Wave Board also)

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • The Rip Stick or Wave Board of course!
  1. Step 1

The first thing to do, is to lay the board down. You need to lay it according to whether you are right handed or left hended. Im right handed so I lay it down leaning to the right, and I stand on the right side of it.

  2. Step 2

Put your front foot, which should be the right foot, on the front foot panel of the rip stick, and take it out of the leaned position and make it level.

  3. Step 3

Kick off with your back foot, and put it on the back panel. You will see that it dont take as much balance as it looks like it would. You will need to learn to tilt one foot forwards and the other backwards, simultaniously to keep it moving.

Tips & Warnings
  • As you ride more and more, you will learn how to turn and move around on it alot better. Your balance will increase.
  • Dont try to go down a big hill, especially if it is in front of a store named Richards Lol. You will bear the battle scars.
