In this article, i am gonna show you how you can make use of search engine giant "Google" as a Hard disk drive where you can store you data without worrying about uploading single file at a time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gmail Drive extension
  • Windows 2000/XP/VISTA istalled on your computer.
  1. Step 1
    Download mirrors
    Download mirrors

    It's very easy to get started with your Gmail drive. All you need is Gmail extension installed on your system.

    Here's the link to download an extension.

    Choose first mirror to download it, which should like picture below

    After you finish downloading you will Rar file which can be opened with a program called Winrar or 7-Zip.

    7-zip is freeware, which can be download using link below:

  3. Step 3

    Next step is to extract the contents of the file;e you downloaded. after extracting contents of the rar file run setup.exe & follow the instructions on the screen. Few seconds later, go to my computer & you will see one more drive called gmail drive along with your other drives.

  4. Step 4

    Right click on it & choose third option from the top which is "Login as".

    Use you gmail account details in that dialog box.
    Check the box to enable auto login feature.

    Lastly, click Ok.

    Give it a few seconds & you will be directed to your new, fresh, brand new gmail drive.

    Now, there you go. Start dragging & dropping your important documents into the drive.

    Important Note : Every file that you drag & drop in that drive will be mailed to you simultaneously.
