How to maintain a trumpet:The secret is keep the valves oiled!!

Things You’ll Need:

• Valve oil

1. Unscrew the top of each valve on your trumpet one at the time.
2. Take the valve oil that is usually supplied when you purchase your trumpet or if not go to your local band instrument supplier and ask for valve oil.
3. Oil each valve individually and put the valve back screw the valve closed pump the valve to work the oil through it and you are done. I would suggest doing this once a month.

Tips & Warnings

• Also always keep your spit valves cleaned out and empty!
• always keep your trumpet in it's case and covered out of the elements especially damp areas.
