Step 1
First look for the obvious...if he smells like perfume, has lipstick on his collar. Look for things in his car, like a scrunchie, hair brush, lipstick that isn't yours.

Next look for the paper trail...more gas receipts then usual, receipts for lunch for 2, more atm withdrawls then usual.

Step 3
Check his phone! Find some reason to borrow his cell phone and look through his call log for calls at odd times. Ex: calls on his usual lunch break to the same number,calls in the middle of the night etc. Check his email, check the history of your computer.

Step 4
Look for things that seem off about his schedule. Does he normally get his hair cut once a month but now its bi weekly? Does he normally go golfing only once in a while but now its his weekly habit? Does he accuse you of things or start arguments just to leave?

Step 5
Chances are, if you think he' cheating, I am sorry to say it, but he probably is. Just stay strong, and gather your evidence.

on 5/20/2008 I know how you feel but just because you think it is there does mean it is. Sometimes having a low self esstem can cause people to doubt their realtionship. And there is a saying if you accuse someone of you cheating you are probabley the one doing it. Still a good article.

on 4/1/2008 Great article. Yes, unless you are normally very insecure, if you think he's cheating, chances are he is. But remember, life goes on. We might spout sayings like "I can't live without him", but you know what? Life can be so much better without someone betraying your trust in it. Thanks for sharing!
