children need to have adult supervision for the baking portion of the recipe, but this is a quick easy shortbread recipe that everyone is bound to love, I devised it myself but it is probably very similar to other recipes

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • flour
  • sugar
  • margarine or butter
  • cookie sheet
  • oven
  1. Step 1

Make a mixture that is two thirds flour, one third sugar and mix in one stick of margarine (not melted). You want it to be thick and moist enough to be put into balls by hand so use less or more margarine/butter till it is a good thick doughy consistency...

  2. Step 2

Take the dough and make it into balls just a bit smaller than a golf ball...(on the cookie sheet of course)

  3. Step 3

Bake at 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit until they are crispy...or should I say "golden brown" (at least 15 min), and enjoy... (but I'd let them cool a bit before biting into one!)

Tips & Warnings
  • Because this recipe is written in a way that shows you how to make these delectable cookies by ratio of ingredients instead of exact amounts, you can adjust it to feed any crowd or even just one or two people!
  • Always be careful when operating any kind of electrical appliance, you don't want to get burnt!
