This will show you how to completely destroy a diamond.
on 4/28/2008 I mixed it up with the temperature needed within a vacuum (easier to attain this temperature). A temperature that high will melt it, rather than burn it. There are lots of methods to "destroy" a diamond I suppose.
on 4/26/2008 I think you'll find the boiling point for diamond is around 8700 degrees Fahrenheit.
