Step 1
Go to a health food or natural foods store and purchase the best cod liver oil supplement you can find. Expect to spend $25 to $30 for a bottle of soft gel capsules. One brand to try is Arctic Cod Liver Oil by Nordic Naturals with lemon flavoring. Remember, cod liver oil can be rank with an unpleasant aftertaste. If you can’t find this one, choose a leading Omega-3 supplement.

Step 2
Take a single 1 g. capsule after each meal, or maybe two capsules at night. Generally you should ingest these capsules with meals, but they are not harsh on the system so you don’t necessarily have to take them with meals. Plus, you are better off with two on a regular basis than continually missing your dosage.

Step 3
Drink at least six ounces of water with each dose. Make sure it is good water, not from the tap and not tainted by some toxic substance. The water itself probably makes a difference in your health since you normally would not drink this glass of water when you’re not following this routine.
