Taking care of a newborn can be stressful. Getting help from anywhere could be helpful to maintain your sanity and peace of mind. :) Getting your newborn set on bedtime will help you get into a routine schedule and may allow you to get more sleep at night.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Baby
  • Lotion
  • Baby Wash
  • Bottle of baby formula
Step1
Pick a bedtime that is appropriate for your newborn. Feed your baby about 1-2 hours before your baby's expected bedtime.
Step2
Start winding down your baby to his/her bedtime about 30 minutes beforehand by preparing your baby's bath with warm water and lather him/her with baby wash.
Step3
Dry and massage your baby gently with baby lotion. Dress him/her appropriately and ease to sleep by rocking or swinging. By now your baby should be asleep at the designated bedtime. Do this for a week and your baby should get into the groove and fall asleep at the bedtime you want.
