Besides highlighting text to select it, within Word there are quick and easy shortcuts to select text.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    To SELECT A FULL SENTENCE, click the mouse anywhere in a sentence.

  2. Step 2

    Hold the Ctrl key.

  3. Step 3

    Single-click the mouse.

  4. Step 4

    To SELECT A FULL PARAGRAPH, click the mouse anywhere in a paragraph.

  5. Step 5

    Triple-click the mouse.

Tips & Warnings
  • With either the sentence or paragraph selected, you can then cut or delete the selected text.
