How to create a travel club

A travel club is essentially a group of people with similar interests that goes on various trips and vacations together. It is usually created by one person that handles setting up the different trips and excursions that the group goes on. It's fairly simple to set up a travel club; however it does require a time commitment to properly promote and maintain the club.

Instructions

1. Determine the target audience for the travel club. Some travel clubs develop by themselves. You may notice that you take a trip to a place on a regular basis and meet up with the same people. In that vein, you could very well join up with those people and form a travel club. It's the easiest way to do it. Or, you would have to determine the type of people you would like to be a part of your travel club. For example, you may target adults over the age of 45 or college students.

2. Determine the types of trips you would want your travel club to take. The best way to promote your club is by putting together a trip. Figure out where your target demographic would like to go and how much they may pay for that type of trip.

3. Partner with a travel professional if you're not one yourself. You will need someone who can book the travel arrangements on your behalf if you aren't already a travel agent.

4. Promote the travel club. Once you've decided on a trip, you can begin to promote the trip that you're taking. Promoting the trip could be as easy as sending an email to all of your friends and associates or you may have to reach out to larger mediums. Determine what's going to work best for the people you want to be in your travel group.

5. Begin your travels! Travel clubs are really cool and can make traveling much easier. Sometimes you may want to take a trip that your close friends don't want to take, but if you are a part of a travel club or have your own, you will have access to different people who may want to travel with you.
