first step is always the difficult one in any learning-even in knitting-this one is from my mother.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • two knitting needle and wool, lots of patience
Step1
take two knitting needles and a strand of wool.wrap the strand on your finger in a knot,or use your one finger to make a knot on the wool strand and pile it up on the needle,so as to '' tie'' the needle with it.
Step2
Take the other needle and drive it into this knot tied on the first needle, take a strand out and make the first move to knit the first stich by pulling this knot out bigger and puting through the wool strand end around it by the second needle.this becomes the second knot.
Step3
continue the knots as you pull out the previous knot you gave on the needle by the second one and let your finger move the free strand onto this knot and pull it over again and gain th get a series of knots.

Tips & Warnings

  • Just go to your mother or old gae home and see how it is done atleast once to find how simply difficult it is ,how lovingly our mothers had woven our sweaters for us then..now you buy it as if it has dropped from heaven!
  • If you knit you may slide into meditation and day dreaming about your children and your own mother..
