Do you want to use your Blu-ray player to do more than just watching movies? Would you like to play games and use it as a media extender? You should go no further than the Playstation 3!
Step2
Is your Blu-ray movie watching going to be a dedictaed machine? Are you going to be downloading the latest firmware updates to the Blu-ray player Via Ethernet? Well the Samsung 1400 Model is going to be the best bet! If you do not mind burning a DVD to get your firmware updates, then you could go with the Sony BDP-S300 Or Sharp models.
Step3
Want the best Audio and video quality with your Blu-ray movies? The Panasonics support of DTS-HD Master Audio sets it apart from the competition.
Step4
Once you have your Blu-ray player, remember to connect it the correct way. The best Way to do this is with an HDMI cable that will transmit the HD quality Video and Surround Sound Audio.
Tips & Warnings
No Blu-ray players come with HDMI Cable, be sure to pick pne up. Store will charge $50+, but I provided a link below for lesser expensive ones on amazon.

I think that the PS3 is the way to go, personally- It's got all the quality of a normal player, and even more entertainment purposes. Not to mention a web brower.
