    Large Twists From Each Side

  1. Step 1

Separate the hair into two sections on each side of the head.

  2. Step 2

Twist each section from front to back keeping the hair pulled tightly against the head.

  3. Step 3

Use a clip or pony tail holder to join the sections together at the back.

  4. Frame Your Face With Little Twists

  5. Step 1

Pull up small sections of hair from the forehead. Twist the sections back to the middle of the head, and secure with a pin.

  6. Step 2

Continue doing this with all the sections around the face until you have them all twisted back and secured in place.

  7. Step 3

Leave the hair in the back flowing down naturally.

  8. Easy French Twist

  9. Step 1

Tease the hair at the top of the head with a comb or small brush.

  10. Step 2

Comb hair from front back to smooth the top. Gather all your hair like you would for a pony tail.

  11. Step 3

Flip all the hair over to one side of the back of your head, and secure the hair up the middle with bobby pins.

  12. Step 4

Brush the hair carefully down towards your neck, gather it together and twist it up to the top of your head.

  13. Step 5

Secure the twist in place with pins. Make sure you put a pin in the top facing down, in the bottom facing up, and in the middle at an angle up. Add any more pins as needed to hold the twist in place.

  14. Step 6

Pull a few strands out of the top to get the ruffled look at the top of the twist. Use hairspray to hold them in place. For a more professional look, turn the top ends down, and secure them inside the twist with pins.

Tips & Warnings
  • There are several hair ribbons and products used to aid the twist. Find an EZ DOOZ hair accessory or Twist and Tie Ribbon to make twisting even easier.
