Fried rice is a popular Chinese dish. There are several different variations of fried rice. For example, there is pork, chicken, shrimp and beef fried rice. The most important thing to making delicious fried rice is the ingredients. Here are some steps on how to get the ingredients needed to make fried rice.

  1. Step 1

    Choose the type of rice you would like to prepare. Use any type of rice for fried rice. White rice or Jasmine rice are two commonly used types of rice.

  2. Step 2

    Get a sweet onion, a tomato, a bunch of green onions, carrots and peas from the vegetable section of your local supermarket.

  3. Step 3

    Look for and gather some eggs, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey and white pepper. Find soy sauce and fish sauce in the international section of most grocery stores.

  4. Step 4

    Decide which meat you would like in your fried rice. You can choose pork, chicken, shrimp, beef, lobster or any other type of meat. You can even experiment and combine the meats for combination fried rice. Vegetarians can leave out the meat and add extra vegetables or beans.
