How to Make a Baby the Natural Way on Sims

You've got the Sims 2 for your computer and want to expand your family and expand the people under your care. One of your female Sims wants a baby. Having a baby the natural way on Sims 2 is easy, once you get your Sims' cooperation.

Instructions

1. Make sure your Sims are in love, or they won't want to cuddle together.

2. Have your Sims relax and cuddle together on the bed, in a hot tub or in a changing booth. Once they do, the option of "Try for a Baby" or WhooHoo" will open. Click on "Try for a Baby." If you're successful, you'll hear a little lullaby music. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get pregnant. The bed is the best way to get pregnant in the Sims 2.

3. Remember to watch your female Sim carefully. A Sim pregnancy lasts 3 days. If she's pregnant, most Sims start throwing up, are hungrier and require more sleep in day 1. By day 2, she won't go to work and actually looks pregnant. On day 3, she's very tired and hungry. You'll need to make sure she takes extra care of herself.

4. Watch for everything in the game stopping. When the baby is born, the game pauses and all the Sims congregates around the mom to watch the birth.

5. Choose a name for the new baby and enjoy having a new member of your Sim family.
