Things You'll Need:

  • Good quality clothing that fits
  1. Step 1

Pick a look that really defines your personality. If you are a prep at heart, stay away from saggy basketball shorts and loose athletic shirts, for example.

  2. Step 2

Buy nice, good quality clothing that fits your body type. Brand names usually look better and fit better than generic brands. The colors should compliment you. Include colors that bring out your eye color. Girls take notice of this quite well.

  3. Step 3

Wear pants or nice jeans that fit you well. Other people should not be able to see your underwear. Your pants should accentuate your rear but not be too tight. In addition, make sure that your pants are neither too long nor too short. They should be just long enough that they don't touch the ground when you are standing.

  4. Step 4

Remember rules regarding accessories. Most people don't consider hats to be classy, but wear a nice name brand baseball cap if you are going to be outside and need to shield the sun. Always wear a baseball cap correctly, never sideways or backwards. Belts are fine, but stick to plain, classy leather belts with a simple metal buckle.

  5. Step 5

Tuck your shirt in if you are wearing a button down shirt. You don't have to tuck in a t shirt or polo shirt, but it must fit right, being neither too tight nor too loose.

Tips & Warnings
  • Generally, any clothing that can be casual by itself or made dressy by adding nice shoes and a nice formal jacket is classy.
  • Self-confidence and a friendly demeanor are necessary, no matter what you are wearing. Other people won't consider a man wearing a classy outfit while portraying a rude personality as a classy guy.
