How to Make a Tuna Roll-Up

Tuna is healthy, versatile, and can often be picked up at bargain prices. Keep a few cans on the shelf, and make some tuna roll-ups for a delicious and easy lunch. Select tuna packed in water for a yummy meal that's low in fat and calories.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Biscuit dough
  • Tuna
  • Freshly grated lemon zest
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Extra filling (onions, chilies, green peppers)
  • Cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
  • Milk
  • Tuna
  • Flour tortillas
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sweet pickle relish
  • Minced onion
  • Seasoning salt
  • Toothpicks

Tuna Roll-Ups

Step1
Roll the biscuit dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
Step2
Mix the tuna and other filling ingredients in a small bowl, and spread the filling over the biscuit dough rectangles.
Step3
Roll the rectangles like small jelly rolls and bake them at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Step4
Mix the cream of mushroom or celery soup with the milk and heat it in a small saucepan
Step5
Slice the hot tuna rolls into ½-inch slices and pour the hot sauce over the tops.

Easy Tuna Roll-Ups

Step1
Drain the tuna and mix it in a small bowl with the mayonnaise, relish, onion and seasoning salt.
Step2
Warm the flour tortillas in the oven or microwave, and spread the tuna mixture on the tortillas.
Step3
Roll each filled tortilla into a tube shape.
Step4
Slice the tuna roll-up into small pieces and secure each one with a toothpick, if desired.
