How to Make a Daisy Wedding Program

Wedding programs are a useful tool to hand out to your guests as they arrive for your wedding ceremony. They highlight who is in the wedding as well as outlining the ceremony itself. If you are incorporating daisies into your wedding theme, or if you just love the flower's symbolism, including it in your program is a great choice.

Decide what look you'd like your program to have. A good way to do this is by considering the overall feel of your wedding. Common choices are formal and elegant, creative and homemade or funky and whimsical. Once you've identified your style you can shop for paper and materials to help you get the right look.

Find a paper pattern that reflects your chosen style. If you're going for a simple look, you might have a simple card stock printed with one daisy centered at the top or the bottom, or perhaps print the program a velum overlay with a daisy pattern on card stock underneath. For a handmade look, consider hot gluing a silk or paper daisy to the front of the program and tie with raffia. There are ways to pair any style you can imagine with a creative paper design.

Design and lay out the wording on your home computer. Remember to include the bride and groom's names, date, ceremony order, names of wedding party, names of readings and readers, time and location of the reception and a brief thank you to your guests. If there is anything else unique to your wedding or anything else you wish to mention, the program is a great place to include it.

Print the content on your selected paper on either your home printer, or you can take it to a professional printer. Be sure to check for spelling and grammatical errors before printing.

Assemble the programs and add any last minute touches. If you're tying them with a ribbon or bow, or adding a daisy embellishment, now is when you should finish the programs. You can display the finished product in a basket or simply in a stack at the ceremony site, or you can designate a person to hand them out to your guests.
