How to Have a Crush on Someone

Relationships are hard, commitment is for the birds, all of your friends have paired off but you just don't have the time for anything but a harmless crush. This is completely normal, and something that won't take much effort on your part.

Instructions

1. Look up from your laptop and notice the good looking people around you. Whether you see a cute guy every morning at the coffee shop, or have found out that the other ladies in the office wait by the window every day when the cute delivery shows up, you can steer your crush to anyone.

2. Sit in the right seat for your boy's entrance into the coffee shop in the morning. You don't have to act on your affections for the crush, you can simply position yourself to gawk and get giddy and silly for a second until he leaves.

3. Follow the girls to the window to gawk at the delivery guy. Talk to them about his biceps and swoon with the crowd.

4. Smile at your crush when you see him. Have a crush on whomever you wish, but don't be a stand offish bystander. Smiling never hurt anyone, and a smile can brighten his day.

5. Doodle his name on your papers at work or school. Especially if you are still in school, it is important to remember to keep these things hidden. Crushes should not be published until you get some read on whether or not they like you, too. Until then, burn all offending doodles after you have made them.

6. Become shy and awkward when you see him. It comes with the package when you have a crush. If you pass him in the halls, smile, make eye contact and coyly look down. It may work to peak his interest.

7. Find out where he hangs out or what his interests are. You can accidentally, on purpose, bump into him around town. However, be careful to stay on the legal side of stalking. Just have a crush from afar.
