Having great friends is one of the joys in life. Friends bring good times and even greater memories. However, there are times when you get a feeling that your friends don't want you around. Follow these tips to tell if you are being ditched by your best friends.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Figure out why you think they are ditching you. They could be busy and not have time to hang out. Make sure they are really ignoring you and don't have other things they are committed to that are keeping them busy.
Step2
Talk to a mutual friend to see if anything has been said. Sometimes another person involved may know more going on than you do. Ask your friend to find out details about what is happening.
Step3
Notice how your friends react around you. See if they are standoffish, ignore you or stop talking when you approach. If you observe them making plans without you, then something might be going on.
Step4
Call them and see if they answer or let it go to voicemail. Leave a message explaining that you don't know what's going on, but you feel like you are being avoided.
Step5
Confront them face to face and ask what is going on. Don't get angry or fight, just listen and try to understand what they are saying.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are being ditched and you don't know why, then it's time to find new friends. Go out and meet new people and they will treat you better than your old friends do.
