How to Make a Hammock for a Pet Rock

If you have a pet rock, chances are you want to make its life as comfortable as possible. A hammock is a great gift that you can give your pet rock so that it can relax after a long day. You can even make separate hammocks if you have a pet rock family.

• Fabric or yarn
• String or ribbon
• Crocheting or knitting supplies (optional)

Instructions

1. Look at the design and décor of your pet rock's home. Decide where you will hang the hammock. You may have to rearrange other furniture to make room for it. If your pet rock's home is more of a rectangle than it is square, you may wish to hang the hammock across one end. If it is square, you can hang it across a corner. Decide what color you want the hammock to be.

2. Measure your pet rock so that it will fit comfortably in the hammock. You can make the hammock using a soft fabric with ribbon to tie it up. On the other hand, if you know how to crochet or knit, you can make the hammock with yarn.

3. Attach two lengths of string, ribbon or yarn at each end of the hammock. Use these to tie the hammock in your pet rock's house. If the house is made of cardboard, punch two holes where you are going to tie each end of the hammock. Thread the ties through these holes and tie them securely so that your pet rock won't fall out of the hammock.
