Jeans have become a staple in any wardrobe. Whether you dress them up with high heels and a sequined top, or you dress them down with tennis shoes and a sweatshirt, they are versatile, comfortable and timeless. If you are tired of the boring look of your jeans, or have some old ones just lying around, you can do something new with and fun with all of your jeans.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Add crystals or studs to your jeans to make them unique. With a do it yourself kit, or totally from your own mind, you can add crystal flowers or initials to your jeans to do something new.

  2. Step 2

Put patches on your jeans to show some flare. By finding patches that hold symbols or pictures that show your personality, you can do something new with old jeans that can spice them up.

  3. Step 3

Wear leg warmers over your skinny jeans to try something new. This can add warmth and style for dancers, and wanna be dancers, in the cold winter months.

  4. Step 4

Fray the ends and pockets of your jeans to do something new. Distressed jeans always look sexy, and you can wait for your favorite jeans to wear out, or you can buy a second pair and fray the ends and pockets, adding holes where you wish, to get this sexy look.

  5. Step 5

Make something new from old jeans that still have character. You can make purses, backpacks, pillows or quilts from your favorite old jeans that no longer fit.

  6. Step 6

Give them a new twist when you wrap gifts with old jeans. You can use the jeans to cover a gift box, add some flare with sequins and ribbon, and do something completely new with jeans.

  7. Step 7

Donate gently worn jeans to charity. Find a charity that speaks to your heart, and give your jeans that are still like new to a charity to clothe homeless teens and families.
