How to Look Good on a Camping Trip
Camping is a great way to relax, get away from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy some time with your friends and family. There is gear available for every aspect of camping to make your experience enjoyable, but looking good camping just requires a little thinking ahead and smart packing. Bringing the right clothes and accessories will keep you comfortable and fashionable - even in a tent.

1
Wear clothing in layers so you can be comfortable in various temperatures. Often it's cooler at the top of a mountain than at the base, so you'll want a variety of clothes. Stick to fitted fleece jackets to accentuate your feminine shape. Jeans or cargo pants are probably better than shorts unless you're going camping at a very hot time of the year, as they'll both keep you warmer if you go hiking or climbing, as well as prevent bug bites and scrapes.

2
Keep your skin protected and clean by bringing a small bottle of face wash and a clean towel. Even if you can't bathe, you should have enough clean water to wash your face. Also bring sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and apply liberally to avoid sunburn; there is no faster way to ruin a vacation than a bad sunburn on the first day. Remember to bring a tube of lipstick with SPF to protect your lips.

Pull your hair back into a ponytail or braid, or wear a hat to keep tangles to a minimum and to keep it out of your face. Forget the flat iron, blow dryer and curling iron - you likely won't have access to a shower anyway. However, you can throw in a butane powered cordless curling iron if you'll need to style your hair. You'll find them at beauty supply stores and online at websites like Folica. (See link in Resources.)

Bring a good quality pair of athletic or hiking shoes with good traction and support; they may be practical, but you can find plenty of brands making fashionable outdoor shoes, so you can still look cute while roughing it.
